What a fantastic match it was at our home ground of Edinburgh Playing fields on 16.09.23! Our Hearts Boys showed great determination and skill, securing a well-deserved 4-1 victory against Oving Reserves.
The game started with Oving FC taking an early lead in the first half. However, our star player Danny Salim swiftly equalized just before half time, bringing the score to 1-1.
The second half proved to be even more exhilarating as Akeel Khan showcased his brilliance. Scoring two goals at the 55th and 65th minute mark, he put Hearts in a commanding position. But the excitement didn’t end there. Sina Khadisturn sealed the victory with a tap-in goal at the 85th minute, leaving the final score at 4 – 1 to Hearts.
We must give a special shoutout to our AJ Van Hire Men of the Match, Tom Lee and Luis Silver. These two players displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the game. Well done, lads, for your outstanding performance!
